Britney Update!

January 26, 2004: Gladiatorial Ad Campaign

I was going to write in this little space about how the movie Gladiators would have been much better with female fighters, but, then, I remembered that there actually were womanly gladiators in one of the scenes.  Remember when the one got cut in half?  That was cool.  Anyway, Pepsi has once again recruited Britney Spears to partake in a new, amazing, and utterly daring promotional campaign, featuring various pop stars as Roman warriors.  Below we see a well-oiled Britney posing with sword and shield for said campaign, although I think that it is equally possible that this is merely her normal evening wear.  The metal breastplate looks very comfortable, no?
